However, over time, he witnessed the life-saving impact of the industry and came to understand its true purpose. He saw firsthand the risks faced by people simply trying to earn a living—minimum-wage employees threatened by gang violence, multifamily residents caught in tragedy. Security isn’t about selling equipment; it’s about preventing loss, deterring crime, and saving lives.
In January 2022, two devastating incidents reshaped Jonathan’s vision. Watching helplessly as a young man bled out in a Chicago convenience store, followed by the horrifying murder of a resident in a multifamily property, made one thing clear—security solutions must do more. Systems should work together, providing real-time deterrence and rapid response rather than existing in isolated silos.
